'Little House's' Alison Arngrim: King Joffrey and Nellie Olesen are 'the same person'

The cast of "Little House on the Prairie" reunited on "Today" Wednesday (April 30) to celebrate the Blu-ray release of the show. It was the first time they had all been together in 20 years.

Karen Grassle, who played mother Caroline on the long-running series, was moved to tears sitting with her TV daughters, as they reminisced. The panel consisted of Grassle, Melissa Gilbert, Melissa Anderson, Lindsay Greenbush, Dean Butler, Alison Arngrim, Matthew Laborteaux and Michael Landon Jr.

They shared love for late series star Michael Landon, along with stories from the set. For Landon, being home in time for dinner with his family was an important part of life. As an executive producer, he made sure shooting ended early on a daily basis, so the cast and crew could enjoy the same luxury.

Then the real fun came when the devious Nellie Olesen was pitted against the evil King Joffrey from "Game of Thrones." Arngrim, who played Nellie on "Little House," ran through a few iconic TV villains before landing on Joffrey. "My spiritual son," she says. I love this boy." She then jokes that she wants to adopt him and even dress like him for Halloween. "Basically, we are the same person," she admits.
