'Lost': 'Final Flight' picture, 'Final Celebration' tickets
At first blush, anyway, that's what the takeaway from the "Lost: Final Flight" photo ABC has finally made available for public consumption. Previously you had to pick up a copy of TV Guide magazine or have been one of the fortunate few to have bought a copy from OfficialLostPhotos.com (an actual site where you can order suitable-for-framing cast shots from past seasons).
Maybe our brains are tapped out on "Lost" analysis at this late stage in the game, but we're not seeing a ton of stuff to pick apart. Yes, a certain Scotsman isn't there, and Island Ilana is (even though the photo was released a couple days after she went blooey in "Everybody Loves Hugo"). But really, what we're seeing is a nicely arranged photo of the Season 6 regulars inside a cutaway of a plane's fuselage -- not much more and not much less.
Which is not to say there's nothing there at all. You can click on the photo for a bigger version, and if you see something, please share it.
In other end-of-"Lost"-related news, ABC has firmed up the details for the May 13 "Final Celebration" live event at UCLA's Royce Hall. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Pacific time Friday (April 23) for $28, $53 or $77 via UCLALive and Ticketmaster. The show includes composer Michael Giacchino conducting an orchestral performance of his music from the show, appearances by cast members Jorge Garcia, Michael Emerson and Nestor Carbonell and a "special preview" of the next-to-last episode of the series. Proceeds benefit the Colburn School of Performing Arts in Los Angeles.
