'Lost': Jimmy Kimmel hosts post-finale special

jimmy-kimmel-lost-320.jpgABC is already devoting three hours of primetime to the "Lost" finale on May 23, and now it's adding an hour of late-night discussion of the series' end.

After the finale, executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof and several cast members will join Jimmy Kimmel for "Jimmy Kimmel Live: Aloha to Lost." The special episode of "JKL" will air at 11:35 p.m. ET Sunday, May 23, following the finale and local newscasts.

Kimmel is a big "Lost" fan. He frequently has members of the show's cast on "Live" as guests, and he also does a weekly comedy bit called "Secrets of 'Lost.'" He also asked some pretty insightful questions of Cuse and Lindelof after the season premiere in February.

The show hasn't locked in its bookings for the post-finale special yet. Lindelof and Cuse will definitely be guests, but which cast members show up has yet to be decided.

We just hope Kimmel keeps tabs on whatever alcohol might be consumed during the finale, lest there be a repeat of the "Cheers"-"Tonight Show" debacle back in 1993.
