As we count down to the 2014 Emmy Awards, Zap2it is taking a closer look at each of the lead acting nominees for comedy and drama -- and judging them not by their best work, but by some of the more dubious credits on their IMDB pages. So we ask you: Based on what you're about to see, would you give this person an Emmy?
Louis C.K. was doing his
"Louie" shtick well before FX picked up his critically acclaimed comedy. As the below clip from the Comedy Central animated series
"Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist" shows, he was ready to play himself having some serious emotional troubles multiple times during the show's run from 1996 to 2002.
But unlike his turn as the sort-of-fictionalized version of himself in "Louie," here C.K. doesn't display much a passion for his (voice) acting. While the dead pan performance is funny, it isn't necessarily Emmy-worthy. What do you think?
