Country star Luke Bryan will be pulling double duty on Friday morning (Aug. 8) when he performs for the "Good Morning America" summer concert series and films a guest appearance on ABC's "Nashville."

Bryan and "Nashville" star Connie Britton will film a scene with "GMA" host Amy Robach for the country singer's cameo on the show, which will air on Oct. 1. He'll then be performing his new single "Roller Coaster" and a few other crowd favorites for the "GMA" concert audience.

Bryan's appearance on the show will add him to a long list of country stars who have tried out their acting chops on the show, including Brad Paisley and Vince Gill.

Season 3 of "Nashville" premieres Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, with the first episode featuring live performances by some of the show's stars.
