Lupita Nyong'o won't let anyone hold her 'golden man, Oscar'

Lupita Nyong'o, fresh off her Best Supporting Actress Oscar win for "12 Years a Slave," appears in an interview on "Live with Kelly and Michael" Monday (March 3). She is, of course, adorable.

Apparently still running on the adrenaline from the Academy Awards the night before, Nyong'o had shed her blue dress by the time of her interview. She instead has an equally stunning, lemon-yellow outfit, because she is a fashion goddess. In Nyong'o's arms, of course, is her "golden man, Oscar."

To say Nyong'o is pleased with her award might be an understatement. As it turns out, the actress has basically held tight to Oscar ever since she won him at the awards ceremony on Sunday.

"For the first half of the night, I was being very, very selfish," Nyong'o says. "I wouldn't even let anyone take a picture with it!"

It was only the considerable weight of the Oscar that allowed Nyong'o to relinquish it for brief periods. By the time of the interview, for example, she is willing to let Michael Strahan hold it -- for three seconds.

Can you blame her though?
