We've all been weighing in on Adrianne Palicki's "Wonder Woman" costume for the new NBC reboot, but there's one opinion that really matters -- Lynda Carter's. Though Carter wasn't the original live-action Wonder Woman, she's certainly the most memorable and most iconic.
"I'm very sensitive to the fact that she will be compared," she says. "There's no getting around it. It is what it is. I would hope that people would cut her some slack. I'm sure there will be people who say she looks better than me and like her better than me--and that's also fine."
E! asked her what she thought of the brand new costume, and Carter was completely supportive. "I think she looks fabulous," she says. "It's a new look and, jeez, her body looks fantastic."
What? Not even a complaint about the boot color?
Carter is very excited about the new series and genuinely hopes that the pilot gets picked up to go to series. (We're guessing she hasn't read the script.) She says that she knows she and Palicki will be compared, but she's not worried about it.
How very classy! "I want this story to be told again. I'm really excited. I can't wait to see it."
