'Mad Men,' 'Glee,' 'Boardwalk Empire' earn BAFTA International TV nominations

glee-dianna-cory-party.jpgThe British Academy of Film and Television Arts has announced its slate of television nominees for the 2011 awards ceremony. The categories are almost wholly British shows, but the awards do have an International category.

This year, "Mad Men," "Glee" and "Boardwalk Empire" from the United States are represented, alongside "The Killing" - but not the U.S. version, the original program from Denmark.  "Mad Men" has won this BAFTA award the past two years, but will "Boardwalk Empire" usurp the AMC drama, as it did at the Golden Globes this year?

The 2011 BAFTAs take place Sunday, May 22. View the full list of nominees here. We wonder who the U.S. shows will send as representatives for the awards? Last year, "Glee's" Jane Lynch and her partner Dr. Laura Embry were in attendance.
