After a new poster was released May 2, showing Superman flying high over the city of Metropolis, Warner Bros. has been quick to release two more for "Man of Steel," also featuring the hero soaring through the air. The difference with the new posters is they seem more associated with the imagery of Superman, rather than a picture of the hero himself. While the costume and colors make it easy to tell it's Superman, his face can't be seen in either new poster.
"Man of Steel" reboots the franchise after "Superman Returns" failed to reignite it. The movie stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, with Michael Shannon playing the role of his nemesis, General Zod. "Man of Steel" is directed by Zack Snyder, who was also responsible for "The Watchmen" and "300."
The cast is rounded out by Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane and Russell Crowe. "Man of Steel" hits the big screen in 3D and 2D on June 14.
