'Man of Steel': New poster puts Superman in chains
Question 1: What did he do? Warner Bros. has kept story details pretty well under wraps thus far, but what details there are (the narration in the two teaser trailers, the brief synopsis) suggests Clark Kent will have to choose sides. Maybe he chooses the wrong one -- or is led to the wrong one.
Question 2: How did he get caught? Superman is, after all, pretty much invincible on Earth. Yet here he is in handcuffs, being escorted by a group of soldiers. Are the cuffs laced with kryptonite? Or whatever the offense, did Superman turn himself in and thereby agree to play along with the farce that regular old handcuffs would work at all on him?
One assumes those questions will be answered when "Man of Steel" hits theaters next June, if not sooner. A new trailer for the Zack Snyder-directed film is set to debut on Dec. 14, attached to prints of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey."
