claire-sinclair-getty.jpg Marston Hefner, son of Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner, has been officially charged for allegedly beating his girlfriend, Playmate Claire Sinclair (pictured above), a rep for the Pasadena City Attorney tells TMZ. Hefner's official charge was "inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant."

Marston was also charged with vandalism for allegedly damaging Sinclair's laptop computer during their altercation. If convicted on both counts, Marston could face up to a year-and-a-half in jail.

The incident occurred earlier this month when Marston allegedly punched and kicked Sinclair in their Pasadena apartment and relatives of Sinclair's called 911. Marston was released on a $200,000 bond at the time. Sinclair was Playmate of the Year in 2011 and had been dating Marston on and off since August 2010.
