For the first time ever,  "Marvel's Agent Carter"  descended on San Diego Comic-Con to delight a room filled with fans with the first teaser for the series, coming in 2015 on ABC.

The clip featured historical stock footage, mixed in with aged clips of Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter and newspaper headlines about Captain America going missing and Stark Industries being under investigation. Finally, quick shots of Carter in battle were shown and she kicked, punched and shot her way out of trouble in the period action series.

The other big news of the panel was the announcement that "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" directors Joe and Anthony Russo would helm episodes two and three of "Agent Carter." "Captain America: The First Avenger" director Joe Johnston wants to take the duties for the fourth episode of the show, but that deal is not finalized just yet.

The show shared a one-hour slot at Comic-Con with "Agents of SHIELD," so there wasn't too much time for audience questions. However, pilot co-writer Stephen McFeely offered an interesting and funny anecdote. "In the pilot [Peggy Carter] will equal her entire time on-screen in the Marvel Universe," he says. The 2015 debut feels too far away.
