It was probably a wise decision for Demi Moore to drop out of her latest film project to focus on her health. That's why the actress is no longer taking part in "Lovelace," the piopic of '70s porn star Linda Lovelace currently shooting in Los Angeles.
Moore was set to play women's rights activist Gloria Steinem in the film, which stars Amanda Seyfried as the titular porn star. Now, it appears producers have found themselves a different actress to play the icon in the movie.
Mary-Louise Parker will step into Steinem's shoes instead of Moore, reports Us Weekly. A source tells the magazine that producers want the "Weeds" star for the role -- that means nothing's official, but it sounds like a deal is imminent.
Moore was hospitalized on Jan. 23 for what her rep calls "exhaustion," but reports persist that drugs and anorexia could've been involved in her collapse.
"Lovelace" began shooting in LA in December.
