Meet '666 Park Avenue's' Samantha Logan: Her 'Vampire Diaries' idol and 9 more things to know

samantha-logan-666-park-ave-ones-to-watch.jpgFifteen-year-old Samantha Logan has officially landed her big break as teen clairvoyant Nona Clark on ABC's Sunday night supernatural soap "666 Park Ave." While producers certainly could have cast an older actress for the part -- how often have we seen 21-year-olds play 15 on TV? -- there's a definite charm to the fact that Samantha looks every bit the wide-eyed innocent kid... until we discover that Nona has some major tricks up her sleeve.

In "666 Park Avenue," Jane ( Rachael Taylor), Henry ( Dave Annable) land what seems to be a dream NYC apartment -- Jane just has to do the relatively light job of managing the building on her off-time. It appears to be a sweet gig, with even sweeter real estate, which everyone knows is invaluable in NYC... but building owner Gavin ( Terry O'Quinn) and his wife Olivia ( Vanessa Williams) have a dark secret. Nona is a hip tenant in the haunted building, and Samantha definitely steals her scenes, which is why we chose her for Zap2it's Ones to Watch for Fall 2012.

Get to know Samantha with our Q&A below, and make sure to watch her on "666 Park Avenue" Sunday nights at 10 p.m. on ABC, right after "Revenge."

Zombie apocalypse or alien invasion?
Zombie apocalypse. Night of the Living Dead is classic and Walking Dead is fudging awesome, my latest obsession.

Do you have any current pop culture obsessions/addictions/guilty pleasures?
I love horror movies. That, combined with my insomnia, means a lot of all night movie marathons.

Do you have any strange phobias?
Arachnophobia. Spiders completely gross me out! Nothing should have more than 4 legs. And yes, I cry when I see one. Don't judge me ...

Who is your most recent text message from?
My buddy Brendan Dooling (Carrie Diaries). Planning a paintball war. He doesn't stand a chance; I am pretty competitive, and have excellent aim.

Is there a celebrity you've met who made you feel starstruck? Tell us about it.
I don't really get starstruck, but if I were to meet Robert Pattinson, I honestly think I would lose consciousness. YOLO.

What do you have to have in your carry-on bag on the plane?
My Beats, iPad, J14, Nylon, Seventeen, Starbursts, and my Shih Tzu, Maximus. Loaded with things to do, but I usually fall asleep an hour into the flight. On my last flight back from LA, I feel asleep and Maximus decided to run up and down the aisles. Whoops.

What food can you not resist?
Banana and nutella crepe. It's like heaven on a plate.

If you could guest star on one other TV show, what would it be and why?
"Vampire Diaries." Love the genre, writing, cast, everything about that show. I recently became friends with Kat Graham, met my idol Nina Dobrev, and really admire Ian and Paul. I just got to work with TVD Director John Behring, so maybe it's a sign ...

What do your friends make fun of you for?
How much time do you have? LOL. Even though I'm pretty athletic and a trained dancer, I can be really clumsy. Let's just say I fall down a lot.

If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?
Italy. More specifically, Venice. Since I was little, the water streets have fascinated me. Such a romantic place, with a really cool vibe. I love to explore new places and cultures.
