Meet Allison Kyler, Britney Spears' alleged dance body double

allison-kyler-myspace.jpgRumors began swirling Tuesday (Feb. 1) that Britney Spears is using a dance body double in her new video "Hold It Against Me." Allison Kyler was the alleged dancer being used for parts of the video because Britney just couldn't get the moves down.

A rep for Spears quickly shot down those rumors, saying, "The accusations could not be further from the truth. Britney worked extremely hard on this video and rehearsed for six weeks prior to shooting."

But who is this Allison Kyler? Her official MySpace page says: "Once the lead singer of 'RED DICE,' Allison is now excelling in her solo rock/pop career. This girl is larger than life and commands the stage the second she steps onto it. Starting her career starring on Broadway Tours such as 'Gypsy', 'Annie' and 'Godspell' soon lead to a starring role on Nickelodeon's 'Snick House' at the age of 14 ... Not only is she a singer but a extremly recognized dancer. Allison is most known for being the Cingular/ITUNES and IPOD girl, and from the blockbusters 'You Got Served', 'The Hot Chick', 'Coach Carter' and 'The Date Movie'."

Below is a video of her performing at the Roosevelt in Hollywood. We have to say -- dance body double, sure. But it's a good thing it's not a face double.
