Megyn Kelly to Bill O'Reilly: Pepper spray essentially 'a food product'
"Would you like some pepper spray with you dinner Ms. Kelly?"
Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly went on co-worker Bill O'Reilly's show on Monday (Nov. 21) to discuss the police response to the UC Davis campus sit in. While commenting on the video of the campus cops using pepper spray to disperse the crowd, Kelly downplayed it saying, "It's like a derivative of actual pepper. It's a food product, essentially."
Kelly went on to wonder whether the police had used a "diluted" version of the riot-clearing product. This was followed by O'Reilly who concluded that the non-violent protesters "should have had more of a reaction than that."
Kelly did agree that the video "looks bad," but raised doubts as to whether the police had done anything wrong.
