Mel Gibson's text 'I wasn't safe for you last night' is abuse evidence

Oksana-Gregorieva-Mel-Gibson.jpgOn January 7, the day after Mel Gibson allegedly punched Oksana Grigorieva, broke her front teeth and tried to choke her while she was holding their baby, he texted "Oksana, I wasn't safe for you last night" and asked to come over and apologize.
"I spent two hours with a therapist today and have regained some perspective. What I'm telling you now is I am safe & would like to come by and make amends to you, Sacha (her 12-year-old son, Sascha, whose father is actor Timothy Dalton) and Lucia (their infant daughter). I won't stay, just let you say your peace and I'll say mine."
There were more texts asking to see her to apologize until Oksana finally responded: "I have two broken front teeth and a concussion.  I can not c u today, I'm hurting. U can apologize to Sacha some other time."
According to Radaronline, Oksana's dentist has concurred that tremendous force broke her front veneers. Another doctor diagnosed her concussion. The text messages are in Oksana's phone, which is now official evidence. Mel screamed "You deserved it" and "No one will believe you!" when she reminded him of the Jan. 6 attack on a released audio tape.

Here's the interesting exchange (all typos are [sic]) from Jan. 7:
