Melissa Etheridge, William Baldwin, more sign on for '1 a Minute Live,' a breast cancer event

It's a big event to support a big crisis: Worldwide, breast cancer takes the life of one person a minute. And Melissa Etheridge, Olivia Newton-John, William Baldwin, Deepak Chopra and others will be taking part in the "1 A Minute Live supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure" screening event to educate, enlighten and inspire hope.

On Wednesday, Oct. 6, more than 500 theaters nationwide will screen the film "1 A Minute," a docu-drama highlighting the experience of having breast cancer from diagnosis to recovery.

Before the screening, Etheridge, Newton-John, Baldwin, Chopra and other celebs whose lives have been affected by the disease will join an expert panel that will be broadcast live in theatres after the screenings.
