Meryl Streep, Amy Poehler, Kevin Bacon and more support women's reproductive rights in new PSA
Meryl Streep, Kevin Bacon, Sarah Silverman and Amy Poehler are all taking a stand for women's reproductive rights.
In a new public service announcement for The Center of Reproductive Rights, the above actors have joined forces with Kyra Sedgwick, Lisa Kudrow, Martha Plimpton, Tea Leoni, Sandra Bernhard and more to encourage fans sign the Draw The Line petition to defend women's rights for reproductive freedom. This PSA comes in the wake of recent attacks by politicians on women's health care and contraceptive rights, with this video specifically referencing Georgia State Representative Terry England's comparison of women to farm animals.
It's Bacon and Sedgwick who kick off the PSA, and then encourage their celebrity friends to spread the news about the petition. The video asks viewers to sign and then alert their friends about the Draw The Line campaign via Facebook, Twitter, text and email. Considering they even pulled out the "big guns" -- also known as Meryl Streep -- for the PSA, it sounds like you'd better consider.
