Michael Douglas opens up about beating cancer and its effect on his career on 'The Talk'
Michael Douglas is feeling optimistic -- both about his career and his health -- now his tongue cancer is in remission.
The "Last Vegas" star visited CBS' "The Talk" on Friday (Nov. 1) to share an update on his life post-cancer diagnosis.
"I feel good. I feel great," Douglas said with a smile. "It's pushed me. I've been working more this year than I ever have in my life."
Douglas said that beating his tongue cancer has given him a new outlook on life and his acting career. "It gives you sort of a second wind," Douglas said. "I enjoy acting much more now than I did before. Once you go through that you feel like you can do anything."
