Update: The jury has found AEG did hire Dr. Conrad Murray, but that he was not unfit in incompetent to treat Michael Jackson. As such, AEG is not liable in Jackson's death.
The verdict is in for the wrongful death suit between singer Michael Jackson's family and AEG, the concert promoter he was working with when he died. Katherine Jackson and Michael's three children contend that AEG hired Dr. Conrad Murray, the man who was convicted of giving Jackson a lethal dose of propofol.
AEG denies the claim, saying Jackson himself hired and supervised Murray, leaving them with no responsibility in his death. The lawsuit was first filed by the Jackson family in 2010.
The verdict is scheduled to be announced at 6:30 p.m. ET
