Michael Lohan talks Lindsay Lohan Playboy pics: 'It is a good move'

michael-lohan-dr-drew.jpgAfter some ridiculous run-ins with the law, Michael Lohan visited his old pal Dr. Drew Pinsky on The CW's " Dr. Drew's Lifechangers," where he opened up about his family -- from Lindsay's Playboy cover shoot to a possible baby on the way.

Suffice to say, Lindsay's father did not rush out to buy her copy of Playboy. "
I haven't seen it and I won't look at it. I've never looked at it," he tells Pinsky. " I heard it's 'classy'....she did some movies that were a little risque at times and I couldn't even go to the movies and watch them."

We're guessing that means he was spared "I Know Who Killed Me."

When Pinsky asked Lohan if he agreed with Lindsay taking the pics, he said it was probably good for her career, noting "
it's a move in a direction where she's working.  As far as I'm concerned it is a good move. If she's happy with it, I'm happy with it."

Lohan says that while he still has "concerns" about Lindsay -- particularly given what he calls "this whole pill epidemic" -- their relationship is improving, and he hopes that his recovery will further that. "
Getting a lot better. She's on a great path," he says. "I've been in touch with her." He is also concerned about Lindsay " getting involved with the wrong people."

Lohan made headlines recently after a series of arrests stemming from a domestic violence incident involving girlfriend (or, we assume, ex-girlfriend) Kate Major. Now, rumors are swirling that Kate may be pregnant with Michael's baby.

"
Before I went in, she thought that she might be pregnant," Michael says. "When she left her dads house, she left some medication and her pills there and she was off the pill for like four or five days and of course we had sex...so there was a chance...from what I understand now, she says she's pregnant or she could be. Evidently she is taking the test so she thinks she might be."

He says he'd step up if she was pregnant, because neither of them believes in abortion. "
I would never, never, never want to let a child grow up without a father and a mother...so if she was pregnant, it would be something that she has to consider and I have to consider...does she want to raise a baby on her own? I don't think so," he says.

The episode airs Weds. Dec. 28 at 3:00 p.m. on The CW.
