michael-strahan-good-morning-america-getty.jpgIn the wake of Josh Elliott departing "Good Morning America" for NBC Sports, Michael Strahan is reportedly inking a deal to join the popular ABC morning show, according to CNN.

Don't worry, "Live with Kelly and Michael" fans -- he's not leaving "Live," he'll simply work at both shows. CNN reports that Strahan will appear during various segments on "GMA" starting at 7 a.m. ET before departing for "Live" at 9 a.m.

Elliot having just left and weatherman Sam Champion departing "GMA" last year for his own Weather Channel show left George Stephanopoulos as the only male anchor at the program until the Strahan deal, which has not yet been announced officially by ABC. Strahan is not, however, replacing Elliott. Amy Robach was announced as Elliott's replacement, while Strahan is not replacing anyone in particular.
