Michelle Trachtenberg lands on 'Criminal Minds'; Michael Buble does another Christmas special

- "Gossip Girl" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" alum Michelle Trachtenberg will guest-star on "Criminal Minds" later this season -- and her character sounds like she'll out-crazy Georgina Sparks. She'll play a stalker who loses it when she doesn't get the job she wants. [ EW]

- NBC will air another Michael Buble holiday special this year after last year's "A Michael Buble Christmas" did decent ratings. The new special, set for Dec. 10, is called "Michael Buble: Home for the Holidays" and will feature guests Blake Shelton, Carly Rae Jepsen, Rod Stewart and Elmo from "Sesame Street." [ NBC]

- Jane Seymour has booked a guest spot on FOX's comedy "Ben and Kate" for later this season, playing the mother of Lucy Punch's BJ. David Hornsby ("How to Be a Gentleman") will guest in the same episode as an old friend of Ben's ( Nat Faxon) who got rich off of one of Ben's ideas. [ TVLine]

- "Cougar Town" co-creator Bill Lawrence's company, Doozer, has landed its fourth comedy project at a network this season. The latest is called "Feel the Force," a remake of a Britcom about two female police officers trying to prove themselves. Lawrence is writing this one, whereas he's only acting as an exec producer on the other three projects. [ Deadline]
