Miley Cyrus cries during 'Wrecking Ball' at iHeartRadio concert
Miley Cyrus let her emotions take hold of her during her four-song set at the iHeartRadio music festival in Las Vegas. The 20-year-old pop star reportedly broke down in tears during her performance of "Wrecking Ball" on Sept. 21.
E! News reports that Cyrus had tears "rolling down her face" as she performed the new hit. Considering this concert comes after confirmation of Cyrus' split with fiance Liam Hemsworth, speculation has it that her tears were for him.
Meanwhile The Hollywood Reporter runs a different report that claims Cyrus "feigned tears" during a cover of "Look What They've Done To My Song." Regardless of when the tears took place, Cyrus made it clear she's very self-aware of her image.
She took to the stage wearing skimpy white laced-up lingerie and heeled Converses, and had her drum set cover be a picture of her sticking out her tongue. She also reportedly acknowledged that her music videos are "getting me in trouble," but "it's just me doing what my heart and soul is telling me to do. Everything is inspired by the music."
Cyrus' set was introduced by "Glee's" Darren Criss. She also performed "We Can't Stop" and "Party In the U.S.A."
