Miley Cyrus hospitalized, apologizes to Kansas City fans
A statement from the Sprint Center in Kansas City reads, "Miley Cyrus' "Bangerz" tour date scheduled for tonight, April 15, at Sprint Center in Kansas City has been cancelled. Cyrus has been hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics and has been placed on medical rest by her doctors. She will not be able to perform as scheduled. Refunds for tickets will be available at the point of ticket purchase. Tickets purchased online or by phone will be automatically refunded."
TMZ reports that Miley has allegedly been medicated due to her struggling with the grief of losing her dog Floyd. The Alaskan Husky died under mysterious circumstances earlier this month. A source tells TMZ that Cyrus hasn't been handling it well.
Whatever the reason for Miley's hospitalization, she is upset about disappointing her fans, writing on Twitter, "Kansas I promise I'm as [heartbroken] as you are. I wanted so badly 2 b there 2night. Not being with y'all makes me feel s***tier than I already do."
She's also learning how the other half watches television: "Hospital TV is wacccckkkkkkk!!!!!#wherestheappletv."
This is the second concert from the "Bangerz" tour Cyrus has canceled. She previously had to pull out of a Charlotte, N.C. concert at the last minute due to a bout with the flu.
