Sometimes Miley Cyrus says and does things that seem a little off. Her latest video for "We Can't Stop" is proof of that. A new insight into her mind may take fans on a bit of a spin, though.
In an interview with Billboard, Miley was asked about her Top 5 female singers. Some of the names make sense. She cites Dolly Parton, her godmother, calling her a real-life Barbie doll whose music represents her childhood. Number two on the list is Joan Jett, because she made women in rock and roll cool.
Her third favorite female singer is where things get a bit weird. Miley named Lil' Kim for the honor. Why would she choose the rapper? "In my past life, I feel like that was me," Miley says. She adds that Lil' Kim is who she is on the inside, and she just loves her.
Rounding out the list are Nicki Minaj, who Miley says she has to include if Lil' Kim is on the list, and singer-songwriter Beth Hart. Check out the interview below:
