Miley Cyrus took the stage on
"Jimmy Kimmel Live" Tuesday (June 25), for both an interview and the first live performance of "We Can't Stop."
When asked by host
Jimmy Kimmel how she became friends with
Snoop Dogg (Or is it Snoop Lion?), Miley explains that the two have more in common than most would think. When Kimmel points out that Snoop is "high all the time," Miley quickly jumps in to add "Me too, so it's fine." She then laughs off the joke, before Kimmel shifted to talking about donkeys.
As for the performance, Miley was joined by dancers, inflatable palm trees, a huge teddy bear, and for some reason a giant hashtag for the song. There was a bit of twerking and booty popping, though none of it came from Miley.
The signer strutted around the stage in knee-high boots and what would normally be referred to as underwear, though she'll probably say they were some kind of shorts. The performance wasn't bad though, even if the video is a bit on the really weird side.
She was then joined by
Will.i.am for a rendition of "Fall Down." She also rocked out "Party in the U.S.A." for the live crowd, though that didn't air on TV.
Following "Kimmel," Miley was jumping on an airplane for a Wednesday performance on "Good Morning America." Check out videos of "We Can't Stop" and "Fall Down" below:
