Miley Cyrus thinks the Jonas Brothers song 'Wedding Bells' is blatantly about her
The connections between Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers' new song "Wedding Bells" are so overt that not even the former Disney pop star can ignore them.
Cyrus recently spoke with Ryan Seacrest and talked about the new song, which the JoBros debuted during their Oct. 11 Radio City Music Hall performance. She explains that she doesn't see how the single could be about anyone else considering her past relationship with Nick Jonas.
"I don't know who else is getting married," the engaged singer says. "I feel like that's pretty blatant, it's whatever. Like I said, everyone has to write songs that are about things that they felt and he even introduced that this isn't the way that I am."
She continues, "You can't ever hate on someone for writing about something you've been through. I think that you kind of get a fair warning when you date an artist and someone that's a writer. When you're going through things that you're going to end up hearing about it on the radio. I don't know ... wedding bells are in my future, so I don't know."
We also felt that the "Wedding Bells" connection to Cyrus was pretty strong when the song first debuted. Hopefully Jonas will one day explain why he decided to sing a song about how he wants to get back together with his former flame now that she's engaged to be married.
