'Mind Games' Christian Slater marries Brittany Lopez: What other '80s heartthrobs are off the market?
A rep for Slater confirms to People that the couple went down to the courthouse in Coral Gables, Fla. to get their marriage license and decided to just tie the knot right then and there.
Slater can next be seen on ABC's "Mind Games," as one-half of a problem-solving duo of brothers. Slater's half is a con man who has done some time in jail.
But his marriage news got us thinking? What other '80s heartthrobs are off the market? Is anyone still on the market?
Rob Lowe, "St. Elmo's Fire," "About Last Night"
Despite his free-wheeling ways in the '80s, Lowe married Sheryl Berkoff (right) in 1991 and is still with her. They have two sons together.
Kirk Cameron, "Growing Pains"
Cameron got together with his on-screen girlfriend, Chelsea Noble. They too have been married since 1991 and have six kids.
Lou Diamond Phillips, "La Bamba," "Stand and Deliver"
LDP has been married three times, most recently to Yvonne Boismier, whom he was wed to in 2007. The actor has three children with second wife Kelly Phillips and one child with Boismier.
Emilio Estevez, "Young Guns," "The Breakfast Club"
Maybe our first '80s crush, this son of Martin Sheen has only been married once -- to Paula Abdul, for two years in the early '90s. But he's been engaged to writer Sonja Magdevski since 2006, so we suppose he's technically spoken for.
Judd Nelson, "St. Elmo's Fire," "The Breakfast Club"
This brooding bad boy was once engaged to Shannen Doherty (yes, really -- they did a TV movie together called "Blindfold: Acts of Obsession," which sounds like a nice "Fifty Shades" ancestor), but he has never married. Woo woo, ladies.
