Miss USA Rima Fakih busted for DUI; Donald Trump says he's 'disappointed'
According to Detroit TV station WXYZ, the 26-year-old beauty pageant winner blew a .20% on the breathalyzer. In Michigan, a .08% is the point at which someone can be convicted of drunk driving.
Things got weirder when Fakih denied the whole matter on social media site, saying it was a case of mistaken identity.
"Let's clear things up now... I'm NOT in Michigan and I'm NOT in jail! Wrong Fakih," she writes. The post has since been taken down and, through her attorney, Fakih admitted she was arrested.
Donald Trump, the organizer of the Miss USA competition weighed in on the matter during an interview with the FOX News show "Fox and Friends."
"I am very surprised to hear it, I'm very disappointed actually. I hope she's fine," he says.
If convicted, Fakih could received up to 93 days in jail plus fines.
