Missing actress Mabel Pantaleon turns up in New York City

missing-actress-mabel-pantaleon.jpgLaw enforcement officials began searching for Mabel Pantaleon, a Manhattan-based actress, on Thursday (July 26). She had last been seen Sunday (July 22) and sources told the New York Post that Pantaleon suffered from manic-depressive disorder. No foul play was yet suspected.

And the story has a happy ending. Mabel's brother tells the Post that she turned up Friday (July 27) at JFK airport when she tried to buy a plane ticket. Her name popped up on a police database and airline officials notified the authorities. They took her to Jamaica Hospital for evaluation.

Pantaleon's credits include small roles on "Dexter" and "Mystery ER." She previously was studying to be a nurse before leaving school to pursue her dream of acting.
