A man was killed Monday (June 9) outside of a New York bar that features on the VH1 show "Mob Wives." Police are searching for two suspects in the case.

According to Reuters, Abdou Cisse was killed when he stepped in to break up a fight outside of the Drunken Monkey Bar in Staten Island, N.Y. Cisse was reportedly struck on the face and then hit his head on the pavement. It is not clear whether the two suspects are those who were fighting.

"My heart is broken by the tragic and senseless loss," said "Mob Wives" star Angela Raiola in a statement posted to Twitter. "He was not just a customer, but a gentle giant that I loved ... I personally share my heartfelt condolences to his loved ones, and we too are feeling this loss in our drunken monkey family."

On the show, "Big Ang" is a regular patron of the Drunken Monkey Bar.
