In Zap2it's must-watch TV this week, we're celebrating some comebacks on our favorite shows.

But in other cases, such as "Jersey Shore" and "The Vampire Diaries," we're excited to see what will happen now that certain stars have left town.

Here's Zap2it's must-watch TV this week:

Monday, Feb. 14

Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show (USA, CNBC) Monday, Feb. 14 - Tuesday, Feb. 15 (Check local listings)
It only comes around once a year - it is time for the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. I hear the Smooth Fox Terrier is the favorite to win Best in Show, but I prefer to root for something fluffier and low to the ground, like the Pembroke Welsh Corgi or the Pekingese. Or the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen because it's fun to say. Either way, puppies! For two nights! TV schedule here

Wednesday, Feb. 16

'Modern Family' (ABC), 9 p.m. ET
It's Lily's second birthday, and the whole family gathers to celebrate -- including Mitchell ( Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Claire's ( Julie Bowen) mom, DeDe (returning guest star Shelley Long). DeDe brings more than just a birthday present, though: She arrives in town with Claire's high-school boyfriend, who looks an awful lot like Matt Dillon. Amidst all that drama, Mitchell also tries to dissuade Cam ( Eric Stonestreet) from appearing at the party as Fizbo the clown.

'Being Erica' (Soapnet), 11 p.m. ET
I'm usually pretty sad to see an episode of "Being Erica" end. But after last week's preview, my frown turned upside down. In the next episode, Kai ( Sebastian Pigott) returns and the rock star has some striking news from the future for Erica ( Erin Karpluk). Apparently, something awful happens to her in nine years time and it sends her into a panic. Should she lie in wait or try to change the outcome? We can't wait to see what she decides and to welcome Kai back!

Thursday, Feb. 17

'The Vampire Diaries' (The CW), 8 p.m. ET
No Tyler. No werewolves. No fur. This will be "TVD's" first episode in its second season without any of those things and we're really curious to see how it will affect the happenings in Mystic Falls. We're sure the show will still be as fast-paced and clever as ever -- we will apparently learn Uncle John's (Boo! Hiss!) master plan --  but we're also sure Tyler's absence will be felt. At least that Vampire Barbie Caroline and Human Being Matt have a fighting chance now... at least until Tyler eventually comes roaring back into town. He has to right? Right?!

'Jersey Shore' (MTV), 10 p.m. ET
Sammi hit the road and we all know what that means... single Ronnie's back! Break out the Ron-Ron juice and get ready to party, because this is going to be like Miami only better! We'll get to see single Ronnie without Sam (and without cheating) for the first time in a long time and Ronnie, we've missed you. We really hope we've seen the last of the Ron-Sam drama and that the season can only get better from this point forward, but we're not getting our hopes up too high. You never know when/if Sam might come sneaking back around. For now, let's sit back and watch what happens as Ronnie undoubtedly catches a few grenades.
