'Modern Family' 'Wedding' sneak peek; ABC pays for marriage licenses in New YorkAdd to Favorites | Modern Family
"Modern Family" couple Mitchell Pritchett and Cameron Tucker are tying the knot during the Season 5 two-part finale, "The Wedding" parts 1 and 2. To celebrate, actors Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet stopped by "Good Morning America" to offer a sneak peek at the episode (above) and to make a special announcement.
In honor of Cam and Mitchell's wedding, ABC announced that on Monday (May 12), the network covered the cost of all marriage licenses and wedding ceremonies at the New York City Clerk's office from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. local time.
Did any "Modern Family" fans out there take advantage?
Ferguson also jokes that he's had a whirlwind year after his own real-life marriage. "I got married in July, then I got engaged again in September and then married again just a few months ago, so I'm basically Elizabeth Taylor. And having a lot of the same people at both weddings was fun -- like this guy!" he says, pointing at Stonestreet as they laugh.
Tune in Wednesday, May 14 and Wednesday, May 21 for "The Wedding" parts 1 and 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
