That "Jem and the Holograms" live action movie is still happening. Currently in production, the adaptation of the 1980s animated series has added two new cast members.

Molly Ringwald, who practically owned the '80s with movies like "The Breakfast Club" and "Pretty In Pink," and actress/musician Juliette Lewis are the newest additions. Their characters haven't been announced, but they join Aubrey Peeples ("Nashville"), Aurora Perrineau ("Pretty Little Liars"), Stefanie Scott ("A.N.T. Farm") and Hayley Kiyoko ("The Fosters"), who make up the four members of the titular band.

There's still no release date for "Jam and the Holograms," which is being directed by Jon M. Chu. The casting news comes from THR.
