kevin-pollak-returning-anna-faris-mom-CBS-.jpg Kevin Pollak returned as Christy's ( Anna Faris) dad Alvin on "Mom" Monday (Jan. 27), with Christy revealing that she's his daughter. After initially balking at the idea of getting to know her, Christy and Alvin start to have a relationship.

At episode's end, they drive off in the car Alvin has fixed up for Christy -- while Bonnie ( Allison Janney) is understandably still holding on to quite a bit of anger toward the man who abandoned her and her child so many years ago.

Zap2it spoke with Pollak about the role, which he says could not be more fun to shoot, and he also reveals that fans can look forward to more of him on the show.

"The way [the episode] ends, unless you have a sound effect of cars hitting each other off-camera [laughs], there's almost no way that I wouldn't be coming back," says Pollak. "Also, the last line of Allison's suggests there's more fun for her to be had. ... The return of my character is imminent."

What do you think, fans? Excited to see more of Christy and Alvin? We definitely are.

"Mom" airs Monday nights at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
