'Moneyball' star Brad Pitt addresses Jennifer Aniston comments on 'Today'

Brad Pitt's been awfully quotable these past few days or as he puts it, "I have a knack for stepping into s***."

Pitt appeared Sept. 22 on "Today" and talked with Matt Lauer about the controversial remarks he made in PARADE magazine; the remarks saw Pitt recalling his marriage to Jennifer Aniston as "not interesting."

"My point was, the best thing I'd done as a father is be sure that my kids have a good mother. It has no reference to the past. And I think it's a shame that I can't say something nice about Angie [Jolie] without Jen being drug in."

Pitt was visibly uncomfortable as Lauer pressed the issue; Lauer was prepping to read Pitt's comments back to him but Pitt quickly asked him to stop, claiming that he "live[s] outside of that, and it's a much healthier place to be."

Pitt also seemed uncomfortable when Lauer was praising "Moneyball" for its Oscar buzz. Come to think of it, what doesn't make Brad Pitt uncomfortable in an interview?

Pitt address the remarks at around 3:00 in the video.
