'Monsters University' trailer brings fans back to where it all began


A new trailer for "Monsters University" has arrived as we near closer to the movie's upcoming release. This look at the "Monsters, Inc." prequel focuses on Mike Wazowski's struggles to be a scarer during his first semester at Monsters University. We already know he succeeds, but it looks like he didn't do so without some serious struggles.

Recently it was announced that new voice actors including Nathan Fillion, Helen Mirren and Aubrey Plaza have joined the "Monsters University" cast. The full list of new actors includes Mirren, Alfred Molina, Dave Foley, Sean P. Hayes, Joel Murray, Peter Sohn, Charlie Day, Fillion, Bobby Moynihan, Julia Sweeney, Plaza, Tyler Labine, John Krasinski, Hunt, Beth Behrs and John Ratzenberger. "Monsters University" is due out on June 21.

Here's the movie's official plot synopsis:

Mike Wazowski's (voice of Billy Crystal) lifelong dreams of becoming a Scarer are derailed during his first semester at Monsters University when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, "Sulley" (voice of John Goodman), and their out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University's elite Scare Program.
