'MythBusters' cuts Tory Belleci, Kari Byron and Grant Imahara for 2015

At the end of the Thursday (Aug. 21) episode of "MythBusters," original hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman announced that three of their crew members will not be returning for the 2015 season. Watch the show say goodbye to Tory Belleci, Kari Byron and Grant Imahara in the above video.

After the episode aired, all three took to Twitter to thank the fans and the show. Byron writes, "After a decade of the Mythbusters, we are no longer with the show. Thank you to all the fans who have supported us. The show is taking a new direction. It was an amazing run. I learned so much about myself and the world. I love you all @MythBusters. I am sad for an ending but there will be exciting new adventures for us."

Grant Imahara adds, "Thanks @MythBusters for allowing us to teach science in a whole new way. Also, explosions. Now, on to the next adventure!"

And Belleci writes, "It's been an amazing ride for 10 years! We couldn't have done it without you guys. You're the best fans anyone could wish for. Thank you."

Savage and the official "MythBusters" accounts also had words of farewell. "We want to thank @KariByron @GrantImahara @ToryBelleci for their tireless work, and wish them all the best," writes "MythBusters." Savage adds, "@KariByron, @grantimahara & @ToryBelleci, it's been a pleasure to not only work with you but call you our friends."
