Nancy Reagan in the hospital after fall, pelvis fracture

Nancyreagan Former First Lady Nancy Reagan is in the hospital after breaking her pelvis in a fall at her home.

Don't panic. She fell last week. But Ronald Reagan's 87-year-old widow only admitted herself to hospital this week after "experiencing persistent pain."

So you could say that Nancy Reagan has fallen but she did get up. I'm telling ya, this little lady is tough!

Reagan's spokeswoman Joanne Drake released a statement, explaining that tests at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center show she suffered a fracture to her pelvis and sacrum.

"She will remain at UCLA for a few days -- until doctors are satisfied with her progress -- and then return home," Drake said. Her recovery would take "six to eight weeks."

"Mrs. Reagan is in good spirits," Drake added.

In February after a fall, Nancy was admitted to a hospital in Santa Monica with a suspected fractured hip.

She was released after determining she had no broken bones.

Be careful, Nancy! And get well soon.
