Naomi Watts appeared on "Live with Kelly and Michael" to talk about her new film, "Diana," on Wednesday (Nov. 13). She also described meeting her now-husband, Liev Schreiber ( "Ray Donovan").

Watts plays Princess Diana in the movie, a story that details the late Royal's secret relationship with Dr. Hasnat Khan (played by Naveen Andrews in the film). "The love story with Dr. Khan -- it was kept so secret," Watts said, describing the central relationship of "Diana." "I didn't even know about it after her death. I only learned about it when I got the script."

In the movie, set in the last two year of Diana's life, the private relationship between Khan and the one-time princess is revealed (based on accounts of friends). Although mostly a secret for years, Khan was supposedly the love of Diana's life.

When talking about her own romance with Schrieber, Watts didn't hold back. The two were apparently set up by mutual friends but danced around each other for years before ever getting together. "We were at this costume Met ball ... I had to be a little aggressive," Watts explained. "I just said, 'Don't you want my digits?' I've never said that before!"

It worked though. The couple married in 2005 and now have two children.
