'Nashville' casts 'Orange Is the New Black's' Michael Chernus
Juliette is about to get some much-needed help when it comes to her career on "Nashville."
After being lampooned by the media and her fans for being a home wrecker, Juliette's (Hayden Panettiere) PR image is in need of a huge makeover. Too bad there's more troubling times ahead for this country starlet: When "Nashville" returns, her reputation will take another blow as creative video editing seems to show her proclaiming there is no God, further fueling her detractors. Oops.
Thankfully, a new face is heading to the ABC southern soap to help Juliette with her PR disaster. Michael Chernus ("Orange Is the New Black") has just been cast to guest-star on at least one episode, TVLine reports.
Chernus, who plays inmate Piper Chapman's outdoorsy brother Cal on "OITNB," will play Howie V., a very successful yet manic and avant-garde Los Angeles-based music producer who wants to turn Juliettte ino the next Beyonce. Does the country diva have what it takes to become the next Queen Bey?
"Nashville" returns Wednesday (Jan. 15) at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
