michelle-obama-nashville.jpgFirst lady Michelle Obama will make a cameo appearance on "Nashville" in May, alongside country-music star Kellie Pickler.

They're set to appear on the ABC drama May 7, in an episode titled "All or Nothing with Me." When Luke (Will Chase) is injured in Afghanistan and has to cut his tour short, Rayna (Connie Britton) organizes a benefit concert -- for soldiers, presumably, and not Luke -- at Fort Campbell, Ky., which is about 60 miles from Nashville. The first lady and Pickler will make appearances there.

The cameo for Obama is her second on a TV series this season. She filmed a cameo in February for the "Parks and Recreation" season finale, which airs Thursday (April 24).

Here's the full description for Obama's "Nashville" episode, which is maybe the longest logline in TV history:

"Rayna organizes a charity concert at Fort Campbell after finding out Luke has been injured in Afghanistan, forcing him to cut his tour short. Deacon and Maddie are brought closer together as they chart a new course for their future. Teddy is beginning to feel like his family is slipping further and further away from him. Juliette is racked with guilt knowing that her back is against the wall after Jeff threatens to go to Avery with the truth. Gunnar is feeling pressure to reveal a secret about Juliette to Avery until Zoey urges him that his professional and private life should be kept separate. And Will and Layla begin shooting their new reality series."
