Don't worry, "Nashville" fans. The ABC series isn't going anywhere. It was announced late Friday (May 9) that it would be returning for a third season.

"Congratz and welcome back for Season 3 to @Nashville_ABC @conniebritton @CharlesEsten @CallieKhouri, the whole Nashville team and loyal fans," co-president of the Disney ABC Television Group Ben Sherwood revealed on Twitter.

"Nashville" was one of many shows not included in the network's original renewal announcement, which worried fans. There are still several other ABC shows in limbo, including "Black Box."

Part of the holdup reportedly had to do with the length of Season 3 -- reports say it will be 22 episodes -- and budget issues related to tax credits the show gets by filming in Tennessee. That's resolved now, and the show will be back in 2014-15.
