Natalie Portman, Colin Firth, Helen Mirren and more shine at Palm Springs Film Festival Awards

Among those honored were Natalie Portman ("Black Swan"), Colin Firth ("The King's Speech") with Achievement Awards for Actress and Actor. Natalie is pictured above smooching Javier Bardem and Colin is below receiving a hug from the gorgeous Dame Helen Mirren.

Director David O. Russell was named Director of the Year for his work on "The Fighter." Two stars of the movie, Amy Adams and Mark Wahlberg are pictured below. Other directors honored were "127 Hours" director Danny Boyle with the Sonny Bono Visionary Award and Ben Affleck with the Chairman's Award for "The Town."

Robert Duvall was also honored with the Career Achievement Award. He has been nominated by several critics associations for his work in the 2010 movie "Get Low" as hermit Felix Bush. Duvall is pictured below with Aaron Eckhart, who can be seen in "Rabbit Hole" opposite Nicole Kidman.
