nate-berkus-jeremiah-brent-getty.jpgDesigner and TV personality Nate Berkus tied the knot over the weekend at a historic location in Manhattan.

People reports that Berkus, the host of NBC's "American Dream Builders," and partner Jeremiah Brent, who got engaged just over a year ago, were wed Saturday (May 3) at the New York Public Library. They are the first same-sex couple to use the venue -- which you may recognize as the spot Carrie Bradshaw was set to wed Mr. Big in the first "Sex and the City" movie.

Among the 200-plus guests were Oprah Winfrey, Rachael Ray and Busy Philipps. The ceremony wall was built from a combination of Berkus' fabric line and his Target collection, and both men wore suits -- J.Crew for Berkus and Saint Laurent for Brent.

The reception was presided over by DJ Mad Marj, with a special performance from Estelle.
