NBC midseason: All-comedy Thursday, lots of changes at 10 p.m.

tina-fey-30-rock-season-5.jpgNBC is making a lot of changes to its schedule for midseason, shuffling several of its 10 o'clock shows, splitting timeslots with others and switching to an all-comedy lineup on Thursday nights.

The schedule gives homes to four new series -- "The Cape," "Perfect Couples," "Harry's Law" and "America's Next Great Restaurant" -- and moves a bunch of shows currently on the air around. "Law & Order: Los Angeles," "Law & Order: SVU," "Chase" and "Parenthood" are all getting new timeslots in 2011.

Maybe the biggest move is NBC's switch to an all-comedy lineup on Thursday nights. Starting Jan. 20, "30 Rock" -- which NBC has picked up for the 2011-12 season -- will move to 10 p.m. ET, where it will be paired with "Outsourced." "Community" and "The Office" are staying put at 8 and 9 p.m., while newcomer "Perfect Couples" airs at 8:30 and "Parks and Recreation" returns for its third season at 9:30.

"The Cape" will be the first new show to premiere, getting a two-hour debut on Sunday, Jan. 9 (possibly after an NFL playoff game). The premiere will repeat on Monday, Jan. 10, and it will move into its regular home at 9 p.m. Mondays starting Jan. 17. The show, about a masked hero played by "ER's" David Lyons," will displace "The Event" until Feb. 28.

David E. Kelley's new drama "Harry's Law" airs in the 10 o'clock Monday spot starting Jan. 17, and "Parenthood" moves over to Mondays starting in March. "L&O: LA" gets the post-"Biggest Loser" spot starting in February, while "SVU" slides back to 10 on Wednesdays, and "Chase" goes to 9 on Wednesdays -- where it's being served up against "American Idol" and "Criminal Minds."

"Minute to Win It," "The Marriage Ref" and "The Celebrity Apprentice" will also be back at midseason. Not on the schedule at the moment is another comedy, "Friends with Benefits."

Got all that? Yeah -- we're not sure we do either. The big schedule shakeup will play out as follows:
