Bill Cosby is returning to television in 2015. NBC has made a deal with the legendary comedian to star in a currently untitled family comedy, probably airing in the summer or fall of 2015.

EW.com reports that the deal was concluded Wednesday (Aug. 6) and is following the plan previously set out by the production and the network. Written by Mike O'Malley (who may also co-star in the show as a son-in-law to Cosby), the show will star Cosby as Jonathan Franklin, the patriarch of a growing family who likes to share his wisdom with his daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren. Whether they like it or not.

No premiere date is set yet for the project, but reports indicate that Cosby is likely to return to television at some point in 2015. The actor previously starred in the beloved sitcom, "The Cosby Show," after getting his start many years earlier in "I Spy." His last series was "Cosby," which ran on CBS from 1996-2000.
