Above, "How I Met Your Mother" star Neil Patrick Harris just proves once again how awesome he is as he works hard in the kitchen -- way to roll up your sleeves and jump right in, NPH.

Below, Kevin Nealon and chef Michael Voltaggio serve food, along with "Justified's" Kaitlyn Dever and Roma Downey below that. It's terrific to see celebrities giving back during the holidays.

But, much like that "HIMYM" episode where Ted and Robin can't serve food at the homeless shelter because it's too full on Thanksgiving, don't just volunteer during Thanksgiving. Hunger is a problem year-round, so think about volunteering at other times of the year too.

Happy Thanksgiving!
